The Madden 19 Ultimate Team mode recently added a variety of sweet player cards along with different challenges. The latest event is for the NFL Scouting Combine promotion and includes the likes of Christian McCaffrey and Garrett Bolles. These players are amongst the coveted Madden 19 Combine Standouts or Stars. However, a Madden 19 Combine Master Chris Johnson MUT card takes the cake. Here’s how to get that special 99 OVR card within the new promotion.

Ahead of the 2008 NFL Draft, East Carolina prospect Chris Johnson certainly garnered attention for himself during the NFL Scouting Combine. He broke an all-time 40-yard dash record with his time of 4.24 seconds. In addition, he showed off an impressive 35-inch high vertical and 10-foot-10-inch broad jump. The running back ended up going No. 24 overall to the Titans in that year’s NFL Draft.
The new Madden Ultimate Team NFL Combine event brings a superb 99 OVR Chris Johnson card to the virtual playing field. Here’s a look at the new card:
Those 99 Skill ratings are going to come in quite handy for your Ultimate Team roster. However, you won’t be able to add this gem of a Combine Masters card to your MUT lineup until Friday.
How to get Madden 19 Combine Master Chris Johnson card
It’s going to take a bit of work to get a card rated as high as this new Combine Master Chris Johnson for Ultimate Team. That means participating in various challenges for the new Combine event or purchasing the necessary player cards.
Tuesday (Feb. 26) marked Day 1 of the Combine Challenges. Only specific Standouts are revealed each day of the promotion. So far, there are just nine of them available, and there will be another nine on Day 2. The final nine Combine Standouts will arrive on Day 3. So it will take several days to see all of them.
COMBINE Sets:
NAT Star – Add 5 combine trophies for a random NAT COMBINE Star.
Master Set – Add all 27 COMBINE Standouts to earn 99 ovr COMBINE Master Chris Johnson (will be available on 03/01)

The objective is to achieve all 27 of these Madden 19 Combine Standouts. Once you’ve done that, you can put together a set of all 27 players to trade in for the 99 OVR Masters Combine Chris Johnson. Each Combine event day leading to Friday (Mar. 1) has a theme of different players with it.
- Day 1: HB, OL, K, P (Tue. 2/26)
- Day 2: TBA (Wed. 2/27)
- Day 3: TBA (Thu. 3/1)
Of course, the other option will be to simply purchase a Combine Masters Chris Johnson card. As of this report, the cards aren’t available yet so there are no prices to report for it. However, by Friday (Mar. 1), gamers should start seeing these surface if there are sellers on the market.
