During the recent NFL Draft event in Nashville, Tennessee, video game fans saw the new cover for Madden 20. It features none other than Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Gamers are already anticipating using Mahomes in the new title when it drops in August. However, there’s also a new contest available which will allow gamers to play against Patrick Mahomes himself in Madden 20.
New video on how to play Madden 20 vs. MVP
In a recent video on Twitter, the 2018-19 NFL MVP posed the question of playing against him in Madden 20. He’s part of a brand new contest where he’ll fly a lucky winner and a friend to wherever he is. The winner and friend even get put up in a nice hotel.
From there, the winner and their pal get to hang out with Mahomes. That includes tossing the pigskin around and playing against him in Madden 20. The cover star even mentions this will make the winner amongst the first to play the new game ahead of the masses.
Mahomes is teaming up with Omaze for this special new contest. Omaze offers all sorts of “once in a lifetime experiences” or “exclusive merchandise” in order to support nonprofits globally.
Gamers can head to Omaze.com/Mahomes to enter the contest. It involves donations and they’ll go to the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation. The Chiefs’ QB’s foundation has made it their mission to “improve the lives of children.”
The more someone donates, the more entries into the Mahomes contest that person receives. It starts on the website at $25 donation for 250 entries. However, the highest-priced donation on the site appears to be $5,000 for 50,000 entries. That seems to favor those who have the bankroll to spend on donating for this cause.
Latest developments as Madden 20 arrives in August
As Madden 19 continues to unveil new Ultimate Team content, there’s also new Madden 20 content. That includes a recent look at Face of the Franchise mode which will be a part of the new game. In addition, there will be a special “Superstar X Abilities” aspect of Madden 20 with Patrick Mahomes as a part of it.
