A new live-action Pokemon Let’s Go trailer dropped today, showing off Meltan. The two minute or so trailer shows the new mythical Pokemon getting into trouble while a trainer writes about it. However, the biggest detail that can be gleaned from this trailer is the hint that it will have a second form. The form will, seemingly, have several of the creatures join together.
Meltan is a new mythical Pokemon whose body is made of liquid metal. It can absorb metal objects, which of course, leads to it getting into a ton of trouble. You can see that firsthand below in the live-action trailer. In it, there are several of the Pokemon of different sizes wandering around the house eating screws and causing mayhem.

Meanwhile, there is a Trainer writing in her notebook about her experiences with Meltan. Her notes give a little bit of insight into the steel Pokemon that we will soon be able to catch. For the most part, though, the trailer doesn’t contain any groundbreaking new info except the end.
Right near the end of the trailer, the Trainer writes that that isn’t all there is to know about Meltan. It then shifts to a huge group of the Pokemon all next to each other. It then transitions to the screenshot above, showing the shadow of a large Pokemon with the same hex nut head. Lastly, the Trainer writes this:
“I think Meltan still holds a greater secret to be uncovered.”
This teases that Meltan will have at least one other form that contains numerous version of the creature. This certainly isn’t unprecedented, as the sixth and seventh generations did this with Zygarde. We saw one form in X & Y before seeing all of its forms in Sun & Moon. It’s possible we will only get this one form in Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee but we will see its true form(s) in the eighth generation games next year.
