Madden 19 College Football Players Released In MUT Packs For New Year’s Eve

With December 31 comes the New Year’s Eve celebration for people worldwide. It also brings a sweet group of exclusive Madden 19 college football players in Madden Ultimate Team packs. Among the former collegiate stars that gamers will be looking for in MUT packs is former Oklahoma Sooners back Adrian Peterson. There are also three other players in honor of the recent College Football Playoffs teams.

Special Madden 19 College football MUT cards now available

The College Football Playoffs (CFP) took place this past weekend with four teams vying to make it into the National Championship Game. In this year’s Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, the Clemson Tigers defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 30-3.

In the Capital One Bowl, the No. 1-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide rolled to a 45-34 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners. That means Clemson and Alabama will battle once again for the National Championship.

In addition, it means that Madden 19 dropped four unique MUT player cards. One is for each of the playoff teams. As mentioned, Adrian Peterson, now a member of the Washington Redskins, represents the Sooners. Gamers can add him to their Madden Ultimate Team if they happen to snag his card in a pack.

As seen above, “AP” is joined by Alabama alumni Kareem Jackson, former Clemson star Grady Jarrett, and former Notre Dame wide receiver Golden Tate III. These four players each carry 95 overall ratings on their brand new MUT cards available in packs.

The Madden Ultimate Team cards for these New Year’s College players are only available in packs until January 2 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. That gives a few days into the new year to add these star players to your elite roster of talents.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of players wishing for a return for a college football video game. The NCAA title available was NCAA Football 14 which was out back in July of 2013. It’s still a fan favorite too.

There hasn’t been a game since due to licensing issues between EA and the NCAA, with the SEC, Big Ten, and Pac-12 all deciding to not license trademarks to EA. Interestingly, a lot of people continue to play the NCAA Football 14 game and there have been “unofficial updates” to bring current college rosters to the game. Some avid gamers will surely add some of the top college stars to their Madden 19 rosters as well.
