Madden 20 NFL Combine Promo Part 1 Players Revealed Including Amari Cooper, D.K. Metcalf, and Deion Sanders
On a Thursday, February 27 Madden Twitch stream, EA gave gamers a look at the upcoming Madden 20 NFL Combine promo. This promotion features stars of past NFL Combine events as well as future stars of the league. During the stream, they mentioned that gamers can expect Part 1 of the promotion to arrive on Friday, February 28. Here are some more details on what’s on the way.
Madden 20 NFL Combine promo players for Part 1
Upon logging into Ultimate Team on Friday, gamers will receive a free Deion Sanders card with a 200 Madden Training Quicksell. There will also be new player cards available through packs, challenges, and other Combine-specific events. The first group of players was revealed on Good Morning Madden Twitch stream and have ratings up to 96 overall.
The Madden 20 NFL Combine Promo includes cards as low as 85 overall, and then of course, much higher rated items that gamers can acquire in different ways. EA revealed the lower-rated cards first including Broncos quarterback Drew Lock, Vikings halfback Ameer Abdullah, and Lions wide receiver Kerryon Johnson. Here’s a look at that lower-rated group of eight Combine player cards.
Two higher-rated player cards arrive for the promotion with Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki (93 OVR) and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper (96 OVR). These won’t be “endgame” style cards, but for some MUT fans with a Dolphins or Cowboys squad, they may help fill in some spots on a lineup to boost Team Chemistry ratings.
Combine Conqueror D.K. Metcalf & Combine Master Deion Sanders
The top cards for part 1 of the Madden 20 NFL Combine promo are a Combine Master Deion Sanders and the Combine Conqueror D.K. Metcalf. Gamers can earn the Metcalf card by earning a total of 25 stars through the Combine Milestones, which are daily challenges.
Here’s a look at the new card’s starting attribute ratings:
Gamers will need to upgrade using special Combine Conqueror Tokens. Those are the Strength, Speed, and Dedication Combine Conqueror Tokens. Upon getting these and applying them the Metcalf card, the item powers up to a 95 overall NAT (shown below).
A 97 overall Combine Master Deion Sanders is the top prize so far for the promotion. Gamers can get the card by trading in a set of three Combine Stars. They are Amari Cooper, Alvin Kamara, and Denzel Ward. In addition to 97 OVR Sanders, gamers also get his Power Up item and three NAT 96 OVR Combine Stars.
It becomes Deion’s best card, topping his NFL 100 card with a 94 overall before applying the Power Up.
All of the new Madden 20 NFL Combine players and challenges should arrive in Ultimate Team on Friday, February 28 around 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. We’ll have more details about the program as they become available.
