Madden 20 NFL Honors Cards: LTD Items Arrive for Kyler Murray, Calais Campbell
This past weekend, not only did Super Bowl 54 take place, but so did NFL Honors. The annual ceremony hands out awards for the top coaches and best players in terms of offense, defense, and off-field contributions. In recognition of the players, the Madden 20 NFL Honors program will feature cards representing the winners. Tuesday brought the first pair of player items with new cards for Calais Campbell and Kyler Murray.
New Madden 20 NFL Honors cards: Kyler Murray, Calais Campbell
Taking home the 2019 NFL Rookie of the Year was Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. During his first year as the man guiding the offense in AZ, Murray compiled 3,722 passing yards and 20 touchdowns on 349-of-542 completions. Murray also ran the ball 3 times for 544 yards and four rushing TDs.
The No. 1 pick receives a brand new upgraded Madden 20 NFL Honors card. Murray’s rated at 96 overall for the new item which also includes 97 Throw on the Run, 93 Speed, 93 Throw Power, and 92 Throw Accuracy Deep attributes. There’s no Power Up symbol here, and it is a limited-time card for packs.
Jacksonville Jaguars left end Calais Campbell gets an even higher rating with a new 97 OVR item. Campbell was named Walter Payton Man of the Year, besting representatives from 31 other NFL teams to claim that honor. It’s given for exceptional performance on and off the field.
On his new Madden 20 NFL Honors card, Campbell gets the Power Up option, which is pretty nice with his current ratings. Key attributes include 98 Play Recognition, 97 Block Shedding, 96 Tackle, and 95 Strength.
While Campbell was also on Team of the Year, he gets a slight upgrade thanks to winning the award. The new Campbell item is also a limited-time card in terms of being available in Madden Store packs or offers.
Both the Kyler Murray and Calais Campbell items will be available in packs until February 6 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Both player cards are also selling at the Auction House right now. As of this report, Murray’s new card is selling for between 875,000 and about 930,000 Madden Coins for the PS4 version of the game. Campbell’s card is going for between 653,500 and 750,000 Coins, as of this report.
