A number of new Madden 20 Power Up cards are coming to the game over the next several weeks. During Monday’s Good Morning Madden live stream on Twitch, Agent K broke down the details. In addition, the first six Power Up items were revealed which included three new players as part of the expansion. Here’s who is included so far and how it will work.
Six new Madden 20 Power Up items revealed
With Madden 20 Power Up expansion, players who need to get upgraded to 98 overall will now be able to thanks to new cards. The first six of these players were revealed on the live Madden Twitch stream on May 4. They include quarterback Kordell Stewart, wide receiver Nate Burleson, fullback Cory Schlesinger, and middle linebacker NaVorro Bowman.
Their cards are either 76 or 78 overall items as shown below.
Three of these players are brand new in terms of Power Up items: NaVorro Bowman, Nate Burleson, and Kordell Stewart. Read on for more details about how it all works.
Details on how Power Up expansion will work
Every Tuesday, Madden Ultimate Team will have a group of six new Power Up cards available. They will be players who already had items, but needed a way to upgrade further. With the Power Up items, gamers can take these players up to 98 overall cards.
With some of the players, such as Cory Schlesinger, gamers will need to use special items along the path to a 98 OVR. For Schlesinger that might include his item from the Madden Theme Diamonds promotion.
For other players, gamers will just have to spend Madden Training to get the players boosted. There will also be Power Up Pass options. So for example, on Nate Burleson, gamers can spend 41,700 Training or use a Power Up Pass to upgrade him to the 98 level.

As mentioned, the first six of the new Madden 20 Power Up player items will be released in Ultimate Team on Tuesday, May 5. Each Tuesday will bring more new players as part of this expansion, so stay tuned.
