New Madden 20 Veterans Latavius Murray and Rashaan Melvin Join Ultimate Team
On Friday, January 25, EA’s Madden Ultimate Team introduced a number of new player cards. In addition to the new Super Bowl Past players, there were also two Madden 20 Veterans. Joining the program are Saints halfback Latavius Murray and Lions cornerback Rashaan Melvin. Here are more details on their new cards in Ultimate Team and the costs to get them.
Latavius Murray, Rashaan Melvin get new Madden 20 Veterans items
The Madden 20 Veterans program includes players who have enjoyed productive careers over a number of years in the league. Some of the previous players to join the promotion have been Danny Amendola, Robert Griffin III, Dion Lewis, and Alex Smith.
The New Orleans Saints tend to rely upon their star running back Alvin Kamara, but veteran back Latavius Murray appeared in all 16 games this past season and started in half of them. He tallied 637 yards and five touchdowns on 146 carries. In addition, Murray had 34 receptions for 235 yards and a touchdown.
His new Veterans card has an upgraded rating of 90 overall. Key attributes include 92 Acceleration, 90 Speed, 90 Carrying, and 88 Trucking. Unfortunately, there is no Power Up option with the card, though.
Joining him is Lions cornerback Rashaan Melvin with a new 91 OVR card. The 6-foot-2 defender’s key attributes include 91 Press, 90 Speed, 90 Acceleration, 90 Jumping, and 89 Play Recognition with no Power Up.
The new player cards can be acquired randomly through the Madden 20 Veterans packs at the Store. These cost 3,380 Madden Training with each pack including one 86 OVR or better Veterans player inside.
The Latavius Murray and Rashaan Melvin items are also available through the Auction Browser. As of this report, listings on the PS4 game for Murray were selling for a range of about 50,000 to 60,000 Madden Coins. The Melvin card was going for about 70,000 Coins with just five listings up on PS4.
