Madden 20 Veterans Robert Griffin III, Thomas Davis Get Ultimate Team Upgrades
EA’s Madden Ultimate Team mode added two more veteran players to the mix with upgraded cards on Friday. The newest Madden 20 Veterans are former Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III and Chargers linebacker Thomas Davis Sr. Here are more details on the new cards and how to get them for your MUT roster.

Robert Griffin III became a fast-rising star with the Washington Redskins where he began his career. Unfortunately, an injury sidelined him and ultimately he moved to a new team. He’s now playing as a backup to star quarterback Lamar Jackson with the Baltimore Ravens.
With Madden 20 Veterans, he gets a fresh new 91 overall rating on a card that includes 93 Throw Power, 89 Throw Under Pressure, 88 Awareness, and 85 Speed. Here’s a look at the card compared to an NFL 100 John Elway.
Many members of the gaming community are quickly pointing out this one might be a good backup behind Lamar Jackson to give him a few plays to rest. Others are questioning why this is the best quarterback card available for the Washington Redskins theme.
Also getting a new Veterans card is right outside linebacker Thomas Davis Sr., a current member of the Chargers team. He was the early reveal the night before today’s release. Davis’ new item features 93 Tackle, 92 Play Recognition, 83 Acceleration, and 82 Speed ratings among key attributes.
Where to get the Veterans cards for RG3 & Davis
The Madden 20 Veterans packs are available in the Store under the Training Currency section. Currently, they sell for 3,380 Madden Training. Each pack includes one random Veterans player with an 86 OVR or better rating.
In addition, both RG3 and Davis are available through the Auction Browser. For the most part, the listings for Griffin cards are between 81,000 and 88,000 Madden Coins on the PS4. Listings for Davis Sr. were in a range of 85,000 to 95,000 Madden Coins, as of this report.
The Madden Veterans promotion has been going throughout the latest NFL season in Ultimate Team. Previous players revealed for the program have included Vernon Davis, Dion Lewis, Golden Tate III, and Danny Amendola.
