Madden 21 Derwin James Vs. The World Promotion to Launch in Ultimate Team With Show’s Debut
Tuesday will feature the premiere of the new Derwin James vs. the World program which brings the Chargers NFL star into the spotlight with Madden 21. He’ll be the main star of his own show which features him playing the video game he loves against a variety of celebrities. In conjunction with tonight’s programming which also includes two other new shows, Madden 21 Ultimate Team fans can earn rewards.
New Madden 21 shows start Tuesday night
On Tuesday (Sept. 15) at 10 p.m. Eastern Time the new Madden 21 Derwin James vs. The World show arrives on live stream. In his debut episode, the Chargers safety (also a talented Madden player) will battle hip-hop artist Lil Baby on the sticks to show who’s best at the new game. James will be taking on different stars each week leading up to a February finale.
In addition to that show, there will be another new program called King of the Hill which debuts at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. It features a variety of stars, athletes, and pro gamers battling it out in a tournament. At 8 p.m. ET, it’s Boogs vs. Kiv, two legends of the Madden competitive world. At 9 p.m. ET, NFL rookies AJ Terrell and Henry Ruggs go head-to-head.
Madden 21 Derwin James vs. The World promotion
As mentioned, Ultimate Team will launch a Madden 21 Derwin James vs. The World promotion in the game. Based on details provided from the Good Morning Madden Twitch stream, it should show up between 5 and 7 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday night.
The new program will allow gamers to earn a collectible Crown Token simply by watching the Twitch live stream of King of the Hill and Derwin James vs. The World. Gamers need to watch at least two hours of the new Madden shows to earn a token.
Those Crown Tokens will be able to be put into sets to earn one of three different 90 OVR NAT MCS players. They are Nick Chubb, Keenan Allen, and Jalen Ramsay. Gamers who are able to earn all three of those players will be able to put them into an exchange set for an auctionable 97 OVR Derwin James card in February.
Gamers can start watching on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. Eastern Time at EA Madden NFL Twitch. In order to receive rewards, gamers will need to have linked their Twitch and EA account together for Madden.
