With EA’s newest football game Madden 21 receiving poor reviews from launch date onward, it appears developers are doing their best to fix glitches as they arrive. Good Morning Madden reveals Madden 21 title update 4

A regular EA Madden Twitch show streams on most weekday mornings called Good Morning Madden. During that program, typically Agent K of the Madden team goes over any new promotions, game issues, and updates. On Monday morning’s show, he revealed Madden 21 title update 4 and provided some early details about it.

While Agent K didn’t give an indication of how large the download file will be, he did mention it should release around 11 a.m. Eastern Time for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version will arrive later than that.

As far as what the update holds, K provided several screenshots of notes.

The Madden 21 title update 4 should include fixes for many aspects of the game including Improvements for ball carriers, defensive coverage, catching, and tackling. Franchise Mode and Face of the Franchise both get fixes for issues gamers may be experiencing there. In addition, there will be new Superstar Abilities added into the mix as well as updates for The Yard.

Agent K said he didn’t have a lot of details, so that’s all we know so far. However, we’ll be looking to see what’s news as far as abilities and any other new content that arrives in the game.

EA has released a Madden patch update several times in September. The last one came about a week ago to address a few issues with the game. There are still ongoing complaints about Franchise mode, with others tweeting or commenting on social media about issues they have. It had many Twitter users going on a “#NFLdropEA” hashtag campaign.

While the game generally holds an overall low User Score rating on Metacritic, it was the top-selling game of August 2020, per ComicBook’s report. Trailing it in second place was fellow EA Sports title, UFC 4.
