More Features Confirmed for Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite is still a mystery across the gaming community. 343 Industries has tied lips about the project, although information pop up here and there. Over the past weeks, we found out that the game will be created with PC in mind and that it will feature the best form of Master Chief to date. Now, we get even more news. Halo Infinite will have 4-player splitscreen, something was expected from it. Additionally, it will include a customization system similar to that of Halo Reach. Excited yet?

During a recent live stream on Mixer, developers from 343 Industries have talked about Halo Infinite and revealed the insightful news. We’re glad to find out that 4-player splitscreen is coming back, since its removal from Halo 5. Halo was always about playing with friends and spending hours on the couch with them. That’s how we made friendships back in the series’ glory days.

New features announced for Halo Infinite

Let’s move on to the customization news. According to 343 industries, the Spartan customization will follow the style of Halo Reach. This means that you’ll have to unlock and equip each piece of armor individually. As for the design, you can expect armor to look more like what they did in Halo 5. It goes without saying that Halo Infinite might be the most polished game we’ve seen from the Halo franchise for a long time.

Don’t forget that 343 Industries expect to have a build ready for selected players to test later this year. Those players will be able to play Halo Infinite on multiple occasions and help the team with their active feedback. This pretty much reminds us of the early access program featured in the Halo: Master Chief Collection that has released  couple of months ago.
