Another Galaxy Opal card has arrived in NBA 2K20 MyTeam thanks to the new Buzzer Beater packs. These packs officially launched on Tuesday, February 25 and feature a Stephen Curry Galaxy Opal as the top pull. In addition, there are new Pink Diamond players to look for. Here’s a look at the new cards and costs associated with the NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater Packs.

NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater Packs: Available players include Stephen Curry, Chris Webber

Over the years, Steph Curry has shown himself to be amongst the NBA’s elite and one of the game’s best shooters, particularly from long range. The two-time MVP now headlines the brand new NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater Packs available in MyTeam. A Galaxy Opal Steph Curry is the best possible card, and likely to be a tough pull for these packs.

By now, most fans know what they’re getting with Steph and this card amplifies it all. His new card brings 99 Three-Point Shot, 98 Mid-Range Shot, and 98 Driving Layup. Curry also has 99 for Ball Handling, 98 Pass IQ, and 98 Steal ratings as well as 99 for all of his System Proficiencies.

There’s also 17 Gold Badges and a whopping 39 Hall of Badges. Those HOF Badges include Volume Shooter, Catch & Shoot, Floor General, Tear Dropper, Ice in Veins, Dimer, Clamps, Clutch Shooter, and more.

Joining him are Pink Diamond cards for retired stars Chris Webber and Drazen Petrovic, as well as a Diamond Paul Pierce card. Here’s the promotional video for the new packs:

Available Buzzer Beater players:

  • Stephen Curry (Galaxy Opal)
  • Chris Webber (Pink Diamond) 98
  • Drazen Petrovic (Pink Diamond) 97 OVR
  • Paul Pierce (Diamond) 95 OVR

The new packs cost 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT each for a standard five-card pack. A 10-pack box goes for 67,500 VC, while a 20-pack box is 135,000 VC. There’s also Auctions availability for the new cards already.

It joins the recent Kevin Durant Galaxy Opal card amongst the new prizes many gamers are trying to acquire in the game. That means high auction prices are already in effect.

Recent listings reveal that Curry’s new Galaxy Opal item is available for starting bids from 390,500 to 495,100 MT on the PS4 game. That’s expected for a card rated this high as it can boost MyTeam lineups in terms of outside shooting.
