NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater Packs Add Galaxy Opal Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Card
After quite a bit of time spent grinding for gamers to upgrade a Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Evolution card, NBA 2K20 MyTeam has released a better card. The NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs now feature Kareem in Galaxy Opal form, with much better overall skills and badges. In addition, there are several high-rated new Pink Diamond player items including one for the Sacramento Kings’ De’Aaron Fox.
New Kareem card in NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs
Some fans may be a bit disappointed after putting in the work to get an EVO Kareem Abdul-Jabbar card in MyTeam upgraded. However, NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs now include a Galaxy Opal Kareem, meaning that EVO is worth a lot less and not as helpful in most lineups.
The new Kareem GO card brings a whopping 34 Hall of Fame Badges along with 15 Gold Badges. Amongst the HOF Badges are Brick Wall, Pick & Popper, Relentless Finisher, Green Machine, Flexible Release, and Clamps. Check out the tweet video below showing Kareem’s GO card.
The card’s still brand new so it may take some time to see where the market goes. As of this report, there was a high bid of over 760,000 MT on a Kareem card with the rest at 452,000 or less for their bids at the Auction.
Other cards released and where to get them
The De’Aaron Fox and Pete Marovich PDs aren’t necessarily bad pulls for those looking for a point guard. Maravich has 29 HOF and 22 Gold Badges. Fox, the only current player in this limited-time release, brings 29 HOF Badges and 17 Gold. In addition, Bulls fans will be happy to see an upgraded Toni Kukoc Diamond item to join Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan.

NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs have a cost of 7,500 VC or 10,500 MT for a single five-card pack. In addition, there’s a 10-pack box for 67,500 or the 20-pack box for 135,000 VC.
Otherwise, it’s off to the Auction listings to try to bid on or “Buy Now” with prices for the PD items around 100,000 MT to start out.
