NBA 2K20 Gameplay Videos Show Off WNBA Game, NBA Sizzle Reel Highlights

The wait for NBA 2K20 is down to just a few weeks as gamers anticipate the arrival of 2K’s new basketball game for their consoles. A recent demo arrived giving an early preview, and there are also a number of new NBA 2K20 gameplay videos making their way online. Some of the latest videos show off an actual WNBA game in 2K20 and a sweet sizzle reel that feels like a trailer on its own.

NBA 2K20 gameplay video shows WNBA matchup

We’ve already seen an official WNBA trailer for NBA 2K20, but not how an actual game looks. That’s changed in recent days with the arrival of a number of YouTube videos bringing the spotlight onto the new feature. In the video below from August 23, a gamer shows off the Seattle Storm featuring Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart against the Las Vegas Aces.

NBA 2K revealed that Breanna Stewart is the game’s highest-rated player so far with a 95 OVR. The only other player they’d revealed officially was fellow WNBA star Candace Parker, a 93 OVR. One would have to think that Stewart’s teammate Sue Bird should have a pretty decent rating as well as Liz Cambage of the Aces.

NBA 2K Sizzle reel video arrives online

A few days before the YouTube video above arrived online, NBA 2K20 shared a sizzle reel video. Shady00018 created the concept which features over three minutes of NBA 2K20 gameplay for fans to feast their eyes on. In the video, we see highlight plays and dunks from stars such as Kemba, Harden, Griffin, LeBron, and Aaron Fox among others. There’s also the sounds of Vin Jay and Chvse with the supplied background song “Lose Control.” While NBA 2K20’s trailer was nice, Shady’s video is quite a promotional clip of its own.

Many gamers are already getting a taste of what the game has to offer with the recently-released NBA 2K20 demo. It’s currently available free of charge for the PS4, Xbox One, and just recently, the Nintendo Switch. It doesn’t give WNBA or other features beyond allowing gamers to create MyPlayer builds and test them. So there is some gameplay against real teams, such as the new Golden State Warriors roster.

Of course, playing the actual game will be much better than watching others do so. The new NBA 2K20 officially arrives on September 6, 2019, giving gamers about two weeks until the drop.
