New NBA 2K20 Locker Codes Available for 2K21 Cover Stars’ Lillard, Zion, and Kobe
Over the past week, 2K has revealed their NBA 2K21 cover stars for three different editions of the game. Now, they’re giving back to fans with free NBA 2K20 locker codes for each of them. That means the chance to get a high-rated player item featuring Damian Lillard, Zion Williamson, or Kobe Bryant for the current basketball sim game.
2K21 Cover Stars get NBA 2K20 Locker Codes
The first of the new 2K21 cover stars arrived on June 30. The Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard will be on the front of the “current-generation” game. That includes the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. He’ll be amongst the players competing in Orlando. The Blazers will compete for a spot in the playoffs. Five other NBA teams are also battling for the No. 8 seed out West.
In honor of Lillard getting the next-gen cover, one of the NBA 2K20 locker codes that 2K sent out gives a shot at one of Lillard’s cards in the game. There’s also a chance to score free Tokens for use in MyTeam Token Market.
One of our predicted cover stars was the New Orleans Pelicans’ Zion Williamson. He didn’t land on the current-gen cover but rightfully will appear as the next-gen cover athlete. That puts Zion on the front of the game for the upcoming Sony PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. They’re slated for later in 2020.
As a celebration of Zion, 2K released one of the new NBA 2K20 Locker Codes to give gamers a chance at one of his cards in MyTeam. The code gives a shot at either the Ruby, Diamond or Pink Diamond Zion card in the game. Keep in mind, he’s also the Collection Reward for those NEXT packs with a Galaxy Opal.
Other free locker codes: Kobe Bryant, Prime Series II packs
The cover star reveals saved the best for last with the Mamba Forever Edition of 2K21 featuring the late, great Kobe Bryant. The Lakers star is immortalized in the game and now as part of the artwork on the cover for copies of the current and next-gen Mamba Forever game.
Fans were hoping for some sort of Kobe Galaxy Opal for one of the free NBA 2K20 locker codes. Instead, there’s a chance at a 91 OVR Amethyst or 94 OVR Diamond card, or Tokens.
Weeks ago, 2K gave fans a code for a free Kobe Pink Diamond card. It’s rated at 96 overall and was part of 2K tribute content for the Mamba. See more details about the card attributes here.
One final locker code that was recently released allows gamers to score another free Prime Series III pack in MyTeam. That pack could include a Galaxy Opal card for Luka Doncic, Lamar Odom, Kawhi Leonard, or Paul George.
The new Dame, Zion, and Kobe NBA 2K20 locker codes will work until July 9. The packs locker code above lasts one week, until Friday, July 10. Keep an eye on the NBA 2K20 MyTeam Twitter, as there may be more codes on the way over the weekend.
