NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4: The Return Launches With Flash 5 Packs, Kareem Challenge, and Locker Codes
In celebration of the return of the NBA and Kevin Durant to the court, NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4 has launched. Season 4 is officially called “The Return” based on those two themes. Gamers will receive a free KD card to begin the new season with. It’ll also feature new player cards including Flash 5 series in packs and new challenges, such as the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Signature Challenge.
NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4 trailer drops, new Pink Diamond and GO Rewards
On Friday, January 8, the NBA 2K social media released the new trailer for MyTeam Season 4. It features a quick video clip with highlights of Kevin Durant on both the Brooklyn Nets and OKC Thunder. Also featured are other stars such as Kemba Walker, Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Zion Williamson.
One thing revealed for the NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4 is that there will be a fourth tier for Domination with Heat Check. Basically, Heat Check cards are ones that can get stats boosts should a player have impressive real-life NBA performances.
Gamers who earn 99 Stars in Heat Check Domination earn a Galaxy Opal Antawn Jamison. There’s also a six ring reward for Limited with a GO Russell Westbrook, and an Unlimited reward of GO Kevin McHale. For Ascension reward, it’s GO Bill Walton, and completion of Season 4’s Throwback Moments Collections gets GO Klay Thompson. The Season 4 Level 40 Reward is a GO Kawhi Leonard.
In Triple Threat, the mode has expanded to 750 wins with Doug West available. Also, completion of Season 4 Spotlight Challenges brings a Pink Diamond Shawn Marion card.
Flash 5 packs bring new Pink Diamond cards
The trailer points out some of what to expect in the new season, including new player cards. The first pack was released on Friday bringing Pink Diamond cards for Jimmy Butler, Isaiah Thomas, and DeMarcus Cousins.
Butler gets the best card of the bunch with a 97 overall that features 90 Defending, 89 Athleticism, and 87 Outside Scoring. A total of 21 Gold and 17 Hall of Fame Badges is also nice, with Acrobat, Slithery, and Intimidator among them.

Several free NBA 2K21 Locker Codes dropped on Twitter on Friday. One of those allows gamers a chance at a Flash 5 pack from NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4. It could also bring 2K21 Tokens or MTP, as shown below. The code lasts for just one week.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Signature Challenge
We’ve previously seen a LeBron James Challenge, among others in MyTeam with rewards up for grabs. The NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4 Signature Challenge features Lakers great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Challenge involves “matching Kareem’s career-high 55 points that he scored against the 1984 Utah Jazz.” Gamers earn rewards such as a HOF Deep Hooks/Hook Specialist Badge and Diamond Shoe.
NBA 2K21 gave out a free Locker Code that will give gamers an 89 OVR Ruby Kareem card to use for his Challenge.
In addition to the above content, NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4 will include New Triple Threat and Season Rewards, and IDOLS Series II coming in the future.
