Tuesday morning brought virtual ballers their first look at the NBA 2K21 next-gen gameplay trailer. The new video reveal comes just over a month ahead of the official release date for the next-gen game along with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (or S) consoles. First look at NBA 2K21 Next-Gen gameplay trailer

Set to the pulsating sounds of SHAED’s Trampoline (Jauz Remix), the new trailer brings viewers nearly two minutes’ worth of NBA 2K21 next-gen gameplay. It features a number of the league’s stars including younger players such as Zion Williamson and Luka Doncic. Zion is the next-gen cover star and shows up first, followed by current-gen cover star Damian Lillard. Both are shown soaring as they go for the solo dunk.

A longer series of clips shows off highlight buzzer-beaters. One arrives courtesy of the Mavs’ Luka Doncic with the crowd heard yelling “Three!” The other comes from one of the game’s all-time best shooters, Steph Curry of the Warriors, There’s also a montage of various faces from around the league.

Viewers also get a closer look at players’ facial likenesses, which seems to be a major driving point in this trailer. Stars like Curry, Lillard, Zion, and Klay Thompson are shown. So are other players or coaches including Boban Marjanovic, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Warriors coach Steve Kerr.
