NHL 19 Community Team of the Year Voting: How To Vote For TOTY Players

EA Sports is allowing the fans to speak their mind in terms of which players should represent NHL 19’s Community Team of the Year. Just last week, we saw the North American NHL 19 Team of the Year lineup unveiled. It included a who’s who of the hockey game such as the Penguins’ Sidney Crosby and Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane. Prior to that, we saw the Young Guns TOTY featuring players under 22 years old. Now gamers are getting to vote for forwards, defensive players, and goalies for the NHL 19 Community Team of the Year.

NHL 19 Community Team of the Year voting is underway

The EA Sports NHL Twitter account sent out news that they’d launched voting in the game for the Community Team of the Year. Gamers will be able to go into NHL 19’s Ultimate Team mode to get a Nomination Pack. From there, it’s a matter of voting for two forwards, two defensemen, and two goalies.

Among the star NHL forwards up for nomination are Williams Karlsson, Phil Kessel, T.J. Oshie, and Tyler Seguin. Gamers will select two forwards from each group of players. Here’s a look at all of the forwards up for nomination.

For defensemen, some of the player choices include Seth Jones, Cam Fowler, Drew Doughty, and Kris Letting. Amongst the goalie nominees are Carey Price, Ben Bishop, and Tuukka Rask. Here’s a look at all of the nominees for those positions for Community Team of the Year 2019.

Gamers will have their work cut out for them in this voting process. However, the winning players will end up making it to the latest Community Team of the Year. It’s sure to boast an impressive lineup based on who the majority of gamers feel is deserving of the spots.

How to make TOTY Nominations in NHL 19

To submit nominations, gamers need to go to the store in Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) mode for NHL 19. From there, open up the Community TOTY Nomination Choice Pack. Select the players you’d like to see nominated.

There are six rounds to go through where you must pick two players per round. That’s six forwards, four defensemen, and two goalies. So that will result in a total of 12 players as nominations for NHL 19 Community Team of the Year.

In order to make sure the nomination is counted, you’ll need to hold onto Loan Players until Wednesday (Mar. 27) at 6 p.m. Pacific Time. (9 p.m. ET).
