EA introduced the new NHL 19 Team of the Week 13 and it includes many of the biggest stars in the game today. The latest team is comprised of the hockey players who got it done on the ice over the past week of games. Among the highlighted stars are the Toronto Maple Leafs’ Auston Matthews, and Tampa Bay Lightning star Steven Stamkos. Both players are among the high-rated HUT Cards available in the latest NHL TOTW release.

NHL 19 Team of the Week 13: Matthews, Stamkos, Gaudreau featured

Two 90-rated players made their way into this week’s lineup for the NHL 19 feature. They are Toronto Maple Leafs‘ sensation Matthews as well as Calgary Flames star Johnny Gaudreau. Since this past Saturday, Matthews has tallied two assists and a goal for his team. While Toronto lost to Boston, they bounced back to defeat Carolina. They’re still in second place in the division thanks to Matthews and his co-stars.

Meanwhile, Gaudreau currently ranks fifth overall in the league with points as he’s racked up a whopping 42 so far this season. His impressive performance this past week in a 6-5 overtime victory against Philadelphia gets him the TOTW honors.

Also featured is Tampa Bay’s Steven Stamkos. The Lightning center ranks lower than one might expect in overall scoring as his teammate Brayden Point is at the No. 2 spot behind Alex Ovechkin. However, Stamkos is tied for No. 20 overall with some good company including Sidney Crosby and Patrick Kane. He had three goals this past Monday to power his team to a 6-3 win against the Rangers. That gives gamers an 89 Stamkos card in packs.

NHL 19 Team of the Week 13: Other players who made the cut

The latest NHL 19 TOTW roster for Week 13 includes four different lines for offense, as well as three lines for defense. Stamkos and Gaudreau made Line 1 with their 90 ratings this week. They’re joined by an 84-rated Gustav Nyquist of the Detroit Redwings.

Matthews heads up Line 2 and is paired with Florida’s Jonathan Huberdeau (86) as well as the Red Wings’ Dylan Larkin (85). Line 3 is highlighted by a 79 overall Elias Pettersson of the Canucks at the center position with LW Adam Payerl of Augsburger Panther the top-rated player on Line 4.
