NHL 20 Adidas Collab Brings JuJu Smith-Schuster to Hockey Game With Scoopster Star Gear
With the ability to create players in the various sports video game titles, many gamers bring athletes from other fields or courts of play into different games. However, NHL 20 is taking that a step farther in their collaboration with Adidas. Stars from the worlds of the NFL and NBA will now partake in the NHL world. One of those involves NFL star JuJu Smith-Schuster as part of NHL 20 Adidas collab bringing special gear into the game.
JuJu Smith-Schuster part of NHL 20 Adidas Collab called Take Notice
He’s known for making plays on the gridiron for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but now he’s taking it to the ice in NHL 20. JuJu Smith-Schuster not only brings his skills to the game but also a new set of Scoopster Star gear as part of the Adidas collaboration. Per EA’s NHL site, the gear features a Neapolitan ice-cream inspired color scheme. JuJu is known as Smith-Scoopster in the game. Here’s a look at the promotional video clip released for JuJu and his special gear on November 14.
Smith-Schuster is joined by fellow NFL star Adam Thielen and NBA star Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors. They’re the first non-NHL athletes to appear as playable stars in the game.

Where is JuJu and his gear in the game?
To get JuJu Smith-Schuster’s Scoopster Star home jersey for their HUT squad, gamers can go into Ultimate Team mode and challenge his Squad Battle. His home and away jerseys are also available randomly in HUT packs. So are the home and away jerseys for the other two sports stars, Adam Thielen and Kyle Lowry.
Additionally, there is a Pro-Am Challenge featuring JuJu as well as fellow sports stars Adam Thielen (NFL’s Minnesota Vikings) and Kyle Lowry (NBA’s Toronto Raptors). These challenges involve teams of players from each of the sports stars’ cities they represent.
Schuster, Thielen, and Lowry are also part of the pool of playable characters available in NHL 20 World of Chel Ones, a popular in-game mode. If that wasn’t enough, the NHL 20 Adidas collab is happening in real life too, as Schuster’s Scoopster Star gear surfaced this past Sunday as shown below.
Fellow EA sports title Madden 20 gave away the above gear to one lucky fan. Smith-Schuster’s special gear, as well as gear for Thielen and Lowry, is reportedly available for purchase through the Adidas website.
