Pokemon GO Moltres Day Announced, Closes The Legendary Bird Trio

One thing we all wanted to know about our favorite Pokemon themed mobile game is when we’ll be able to finally complete our legendary bird trio. Niantic has announced that the Pokemon GO Moltres day will take place early September, giving fans the chance to catch the legendary Pokemon and its shiny version.

As with all previous Legendary Raids, the Pokemon GO Moltres day will take place if the community manages to finish the final Global Challenge. During the given time, players throughout the world will have to unlocking Stardust bonuses for catching Pokemon, hatching them and defeating raid bosses.

If all the Global Challenges are completed, players will unlock a special Moltres Day event on September 8th. At that day and during a span of a few hours, players will be able to join raid at any gym along with other trainers and defeat the Zapdos boss and catch it for themselves.

To catch it, make sure to land that perfect curveball and use some golden berries just in case you miss it. Stressing over which gym will have the most trainers from your gym is a bit far-fetched since a couple more Pokeballs won’t do the trick if you don’t keep that throw success rate high.

This sums up the Legendary bird trio raids. There’s no indication as to what will come next but since the Regi trio has already found its way into the boss raids, we could expect the Dog trio to be making its appearance afterwards.

This could be another good indicator for when Generation 4 will be coming to the game. With the Dog Trio completed, the next one can come, being the Lake Guardians trio from Generation 4.

Make sure to grab all your strongest water Pokemon for battle in the upcoming Pokemon GO Moltres day. Are you ready?
