However, for various reasons, you might find yourself needing to quickly get somewhere. Whether you’re short on time or whatever reason, we’ve got your back.

How to Unlock Red Dead Redemption 2 Fast Travel

Red Dead Redemption 2 fast travel

Let’s go ahead and say it: there is Red Dead Redemption 2 fast travel. Unfortunately, you don’t immediately have access to it in the game. You can get it relatively early on. If you want to unlock it, head to your base camp. You are going to want to head to the camp ledger and check out the various upgrades available.

One of the last upgrades you choose from is the option to upgrade Dutch’s tent. While it seems like an unimportant upgrade, this one unlocks a whole lot of important ones. This includes the Red Dead Redemption 2 fast travel feature. With that done, you can upgrade your own tent to have the map for fast traveling.

However, there are a few caveats to this. For one, it costs around $600 in total so you will need to get cash fast in order unlock this. Another is that you can only fast travel from the camp to places you’ve been and not vice versa. This lets you quickly get to places but you will still need to hoof it back manually.
