Rumor: Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill PS5 Titles in the Works

How awesome would it be if new Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill PS5 games are on the way? According to a recent rumor, both of these franchise might be getting new entries. Let’s take a look at the origin of this rumor and what it might mean.

Will There Be New Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill PS5 Games?

The source of the rumor about Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill is Moore’s Law Is Dead, an industry insider that has a relatively decent track record. This rumor does not stand on its own, either. There have been other rumors in the past about Silent Hill. There are even gamers and industry insiders asserting that Hideo Kojima might get involved with the development of PS5 Konami games.

What is the likelihood of all or part of this rumor being true? Well, there is every reason to think Sony and Konami might want to work together on these games. But as of right now, all of these rumors are exactly that—rumors. And even though Moore’s Law Is Dead has been correct in the past about some rumors, that does not guarantee anything about this one. So, we recommend you do not hold your breath.
