Rumors have been circulating for some time now concerning a possible Silent Hill reboot for PlayStation 5. And now, an industry insider just stirred the rumor mill some more, indicating that it might be possible for there to be a Silent Hill reboot reveal as soon as May.
Why There Could be a Silent Hill Reboot Reveal in May
Reset Era user KatharsisT was talking about the possibility of a Silent Hill reboot with other members. Another user asked, “…… No way SH gets a standalone reveal trailer outside of the PS5 event… Hmmm, so does this mean?” In response, KatharsisT wrote, “MAYbe.”
So, this rumor is twofold. First of all, we might be seeing a reveal for the reboot of Silent Hill in May. But secondly, we could be seeing a PS5 reveal in May as well. This is not the first time we have heard that particular rumor.
How reliable is this rumor? Well, KatharsisT seems to have a mixed reputation, so maybe what this insider says is true and maybe it isn’t. May does seem like a logical month for a PS5 reveal though (we have waited long enough, that’s for sure). But that doesn’t mean that it will definitely happen. So, you can look forward to May hopefully, but don’t hold your breath. There are a lot of delays and disruptions to daily life right now which could get in the way of a timely reveal.
