Fallout 76 Side Quests: How to Complete the Overseer’s Mission

The Fallout 76 Overseer’s Mission is one of the very first quests you’ll receive in the game. Although it may seem like part of the game’s main quest, it is in fact a side quest, though it does align with many of the stages of the main quest. To complete this long quest and follow the overseer’s story, you’ll need to find all of the caches she’s left throughout West Virginia.

How to Complete the Fallout 76 Overseer’s Mission Side Quest

The Overseer of Vault 76 left the vault before you, and she has left a trail of Overseer’s Caches in her travels through Appalachia. At each one, you’ll find a cache of useful supplies, as well as a holotape which tells the Overseer’s story. Although there is technically no quest completion reward for this side quest, the supplies you’ll acquire along the way from each cache more than make up for that. To complete the quest, you’ll need to find all 16 Overseer’s Caches. These don’t necessarily need to be found in order, but the Overseer’s holotapes will make more sense if they are. Note that you’ll receive an objective marker whenever you come within the vicinity of a cache.
