Snoop Dogg NHL 20 Featured Squad, World of CHEL Challenges Now Available
The Doggfather himself Snoop Dogg is now a part of the hockey world as EA’s NHL 20 revealed the hip-hop star has joined the game. There’s now a Snoop Dogg NHL 20 featured squad that gamers can take on for Squad Battles. The reward for doing so is a special Snoop Dogg HUT Jersey. Here are all of the latest details on Snoop’s squad in the game.
Snoop Dogg NHL 20 Featured Squad
As part of the Snoop Dogg NHL 20 collaboration, the rapper has his own featured squad as part of Squad Battles in Hockey Ultimate Team. It’s a stacked lineup from front to back with some of the best from the past and present on his 92 OVR HUT Squad.
It only makes sense that one of the legends of hip-hop would have three NHL legends on his HUT Squad’s front line. There’s a 92 OVR Alex Ovechkin along with HUT Icons Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux.
Right behind them for Line 2 are HUT Icons Luc Robitaille, Marcel Donne, and Teemu Selanne. For Line 3, Snoop has Max Domi, Dustin Brown, and Kyle Clifford. Line 4 brings Nicolas Deslauriers, Anze Kopitar, and Justin Williams.
Heading up Snoop’s defense are Drew Doughty and P.K. Subban, with Paul Coffey and Dion Phaneuf behind them. Line 3 for the defense brings Larry Robinson and Rob Blake. For the Snoop Dogg NHL 20 HUT Squad goalies, there’s Henrik Lundqvist and Kelly Hrudey between the pipes.
The Snoop NHL 20 Featured Squad brings two-times the points with it and is available for just under a week now in Hockey Ultimate Team mode. Snoop’s team is the latest HUT Featured Squad to become part of the game. One of the previous entries featured cover star Auston Matthews’ team.
Snoop’s World of Chel Challenges
There is also three new World of Chel PRO-Am Challenges available in that NHL 20 mode. They’re called “Snoop’s California Road Trip.” They involve defeating different NHL teams. Shoop’s Chel Challenges are as follows:
- Keep It Real San Jose – Defeat the San Jose Sharks
- Another Anaheim Day – Defeat the Anaheim Ducks
- Snoop’s Upside LA – Defeat the Los Angeles Kings
Each of these challenges has different rewards. For example, the first has 300 XP available. The other two have hidden rewards that are revealed after the challenge ahead of it is completed.

The Snoop Dogg NHL 20 collaboration is the latest crossover to arrive for the game. Weeks ago we reported about NFL star JuJu Smith-Schuster appearing in the game as part of the Adidas gear collaboration. Fellow NFL star Adam Thielen and NBA star Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors also were part of the promotion.
