Star Wars 2019 Toys Announced, Hint at Jedi Fallen Order Release Date

Disney and Lucasfilm announced today when Star Wars fans will be able to pick up some new toys on Triple Force Friday this year. However, this announcement brings with it some hints toward a Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order release date. Normally called Force Friday, this is the date that we get new Star Wars toys in stores and online.

But this year will actually be called Triple Force Friday in honor of three major Star Wars properties launching. The first is the obvious Star Wars Episode IX film that we still don’t know much about. The next is The Mandalorian TV series, shown off in the screenshot above. And last but not least is the Jedi Fallen Order video game from Respawn Entertainment.

Jedi Fallen Order Release Date Details

Jedi Fallen Order release date

Yes, the same developer as that one game you may have heard about recently called Apex Legends. While we know next to nothing about the developer’s Star Wars game, we do know a little bit more about the Jedi Fallen Order release date. Triple Force Friday will happen on Friday, October 4, 2019. This tells us that none of the three aforementioned properties will likely release before that date.

We already know that Episode IX is set for December and it makes sense for The Mandalorian to release as a fall show. It does also make sense for the Jedi Fallen Order release date to be in October or later but this is further confirmation. Interestingly enough, the plot thickens when you take a look at the developer’s previous title Titanfall 2.

Titanfall 2 released on October 24, making an October release date for Jedi Fallen Order seem even more likely than November. However, this is purely speculation at this point since we haven’t seen what the game looks or plays like. We expect to see more at E3 this year.
