WWE 2K19 Moves Pack Announced, Will Feature Stormbreaker, Team Combos, Kentucky Knee, & More

Within the WWE Universe, fans are always looking for as much realism as they can get within their video games. It seems that 2K Games and their developers are making sure of that, as they are releasing a slew of new WWE moves. The fans will get to use popular moves and combinations that weren’t available in the game before. That includes Matt Hardy’s famous Twist of Fate, as well as Brock Lesnar’s F5 and a lot more in the WWE 2K19 Moves Pack. Here are the latest details on what’s on the way.

WWE 2K19 Moves Pack to bring 50 new moves

50 seems like a lot of moves, but there are a ton of moves within the world of professional wrestling. In particular, gamers are excited by the new possibilities these moves will give for matches. Among the moves will be a number of springboard (off the ropes) moves that fans love to see in the ring. They include a Corkscrew Moonsault, Shooting Star, Sling Blade, Superkick, Stunner, and Spanish Fly.

Also added to the game are some popular combination moves that a tag team may have used in the ring. For example, Matt Hardy’s Assisted Twist of Fate with Bray Wyatt is now part of the game. So is the ZigZag/Claymore Kick that former WWE Raw tag team champions Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre used to finish opponents. Both of these WWE tag teams are now split up in one way or another, but fans will still enjoy recreating their finishers.

Other combos will include a Powerslam/Headbutt, Electric Chair/Bulldog, and Knee Strike/Moonsault Combo. Even more promising is 2K claiming “And more” on their report. A full list of all of the moves so far is available here at 2K website.

WWE 2K19 Moves Pack details, gamers react

While many times, there are disgruntled gamers when it comes to an update, or DLC, this time it appears to be popular ahead of the release. Many fans appear to be excited for the list which includes a plethora of great moves. Favorites based on Twitter comments are the Stormbreaker (NJPW’s Will Ospreay), Timebomb (NJPW’s Hiromu Takahashi), the ZigZag/Claymore, and the Kentucky Knee. The latter of these moves is seen in use below by the Riott Squad’s Sara Logan against Bayley. The additional moves pack seems to make the award-nominated WWE 2K19 game even better than before.

Unfortunately, like other WWE 2K19 DLC, these won’t be free. However, many gamers feel that a $3.99 price tag is well worth it to bring this many innovative wrestling moves into the best game for wrestling. The good news is anyone who has the Ric Flair Wooooo! Edition, Deluxe Edition, or a Season Pass will get the move pack absolutely free on the first day of release.
