Anthem Players Can Have Multiple Play Styles on a Single Account

Anthem players are in for a big surprise with this news from BioWare. While BioWare has dipped their toes into big, online games before with Star Wars: The Old Republic, but we’d be lying if we said that there wasn’t some discontent among fans about how different Anthem is compared to their recent big-hits, Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

That said, Executive Producer of the game, Mark Darrah, has taken to Twitter to answer question after question in order to help reassure fans that despite the difference, Anthem is very much a BioWare game that deserves to be given a chance.

Despite this, many gamers have already perceived Anthem as a Destiny 2 rip-off, though unlike Destiny 2, players will be able to change their Javelin suits throughout the game. This means that players won’t actually have to start different characters in order to experience other play styles, news that will be sure to relieve any fans who were worried they’d have to start a new character in order to experience playing a certain class. Though, if you’d like to do that, then the option is open to you.

Anthem Release Date

Unfortunately, while you can have multiple characters on one account, Darrah didn’t specify the amount. Some will undoubtedly be thinking that this is a fantastic move made by BioWare, as now players won’t get too far ahead from their friends when wanting to team up together. But according to BioWare, that’s not completely true. Level-scaling in this game will be very important, meaning that you could play as little or as much as you want without needing to concern yourself with leaving friends behind.

Frankly, there’s been a lot of new stuff coming up about BioWare, in fact, you should read why Anthem won’t have gender variants in their armor selection here. We’ll update you all with more news as soon as it comes out.

Anthem officially launches for Xbox One, PlayStaiton 4, and PC on February 22nd, 2018.
