Bethesda Promotes Community Guides for The Elder Scrolls Online: Wolfhunter

Bethesda recently announced the expansion of its Elder Scrolls Online Stream Team; the community of streamers who have the official support of the company. That expansion has been swiftly followed by another move on Bethesda’s part; the company has featured nearly a dozen community-made Wolfhunter guides on the official ESO website.

Bethesda’s Promotion of Fan-Made Wolfhunter Guides

The Elder Scrolls Online: Wolfhunter DLC became available to the public just a couple of weeks ago. The first of two DLC expansions announced at E3, Wolfhunter is a smaller expansion which features two new group dungeons and a host of new content. (Primarily themed around werewolves, and including a heavily revised werewolf skill system.) The second DLC, Murkmire, is a larger region DLC which has no release date at present. It is expected to release before the end of the year. Before that, however, fans will be able to play it for the first time at the recently-announced Bethesda Gameplay Days event.

Bethesda Has Supported the ESO Community More Recently

With Wolfhunter out, plenty of fans are looking for ways to do certain things in the game. In addition, the new DLC may well have drawn some new players to The Elder Scrolls Online. As such, Bethesda has featured a series of community-made guides in a new update on their website. Divided between Beginner’s Guides, Advanced Guides, and Builds, they featured a total of 11 different fan guides. The promotion highlights the channels of Fextralife, Dottz Gaming, Alcast, Tianlien, Kelham and Aria, Crescent Jayren Gaming, Kevduit, Khyleo, Sherman’s Gaming, Xynode Gaming, and FeaR Turbo.

It seems that Bethesda may be planning to make this sort of community promotion a more regular event; “… please don’t hesitate to share anything you’ve created yourself or enjoyed with us on Twitter @TESOnline or Facebook,” states the recent website update; “We’d love to share them with the rest of the community!”
