Following the recent release of The Elder Scrolls: Blades in Early Access, after months of delays since 2018, Bethesda has today released the mobile game’s soundtrack online. The Elder Scrolls: Blades soundtrack was composed by Inon Zur; his first soundtrack for the Elder Scrolls franchise after years of composing music for Bethesda’s Fallout games.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades Soundtrack is Now Available Online
As of today, The Elder Scrolls: Blades soundtrack is available to buy on Amazon, iTunes and Google Play, and is also available on Spotify. Plus, Bethesda has released the full soundtrack as a single video on their official YouTube channel; 38 minutes long and spanning 16 tracks. Shortly after the announcement, Inon Zur also shared details of the release on Twitter; “Dear friends,” he says; “I’m very excited for you all to hear the soundtrack of Elder Scrolls Blades which was released today […]”
With The Elder Scrolls 6 likely still years away from release, and no plans to show anything of it at E3 this year, The Elder Scrolls: Blades soundtrack may be the last Elder Scrolls soundtrack to release for quite some time. It’s currently unknown who would compose music for the upcoming game. Composer Jeremy Soule was the composer for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. However, he recently said that Bethesda hadn’t yet invited him back for Elder Scrolls 6. As such, it’s unknown if he will return or whether Bethesda will turn to somebody else.

For now, fans will have to wait and see, as there’s unlikely to be any news anytime soon. In the meanwhile, they can certainly relish this latest soundtrack! Indeed, following this composition, it’s certainly a possibility that Inon Zur may end up as composer for The Elder Scrolls 6. As the series composer for Fallout, he does have a long history with Bethesda, not to mention past fantasy experience with Baldur’s Gate, Dragon Age, and other well-known titles. His next upcoming release is Into the Storm; a standalone album which is currently available to pre-order.
