Destiny 2: Year 2 Annual Pass Is Now Free For All Forsaken Owners

Today, Bungie released a ViDoc for Destiny 2 Shadowkeep talking about how Destiny 2 will grow in the next 5 years. We learned a lot of new cool stuff including new Nightfall mode – Ordeal with Master Difficulty, new Dungeon with flamy Hive boss, and the new evolving world of Destiny. Along with all of that, Bungie also rolled out a hotfix in Destiny 2 earlier today that made a significant change in the Year 2 Annual Pass of Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 Annual Pass Content Free For Forsaken Owners

Destiny 2 Year 2 Annual Pass

In the patch notes for the Hotfix 2.5.2.3, Bungie revealed that they’ve made the Year 2 Annual Pass content free for every Forsaken owner. This means, if you only own Forsaken without the Annual Pass, now, you’ll get all 9 months of content free of cost. Good luck grinding all of that content in 2 weeks (haha).

  • Annual Pass content is now available to all Forsaken players of Destiny 2
  • All negative modifiers have been removed from the Reckoning

Other than that, Bungie also removed every negative modifier from the Reckoning. This week, the final Reckoning encounter is “The Swords.” Possible drops from this week’s encounter are Last Man Standing (Shotgun), Night Watch (Scout Rifle), Lonesome (Sidearm), Sole Survivor (Sniper Rifle), and Just In Case (Sword). You should grind for a good role the Last Man Standing and Sole Survivor for Shadowkeep.

Destiny 2 Year 2 Annual Pass

Shadowkeep is less than two weeks away now. We’ll be getting new armor sets, new exotic quests – Xenophage and Leviathan’s Breath, along with new Finisher Moves, Armor and Weapon Mods, Super Changes and a brand-new artifact system. After seeing the ViDoc, I, personally, cannot wait for Shadowkeep. What are your thoughts on these new changes and features? Let us know in the comments section.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
