New NBA 2K20 MyTeam Galaxy Opal Cards Revealed for Blake Griffin, Clyde Drexler

New cards are coming to NBA 2K20 MyTeam soon based on a recent online leak. From what we’ve seen, the new cards will include brand new NBA 2K20 Galaxy Opal cards for current Detroit Pistons star Blake Griffin and legend Clyde “The Glide” Drexler. They’ll be joined by others based on the latest information revealed online.

New NBA 2K20 MyTeam Galaxy Opals and more

In a tweet from @MyTeamDB on Tuesday morning, we saw a number of new MyTeam cards. The two top prizes appear to be NBA 2K20 MyTeam Galaxy Opal cards for Blake Griffin and Clyde Drexler. In addition, other cards were revealed including a Pink Diamond Desmond Mason with a 98 overall and a Diamond Brent Barry with a 95 OVR. Here’s a look at those four cards. There’s also Blake’s former Clippers teammate Chris Paul.

Based on the MTDB website’s details for the card, Blake has 22 Gold and 43 Hall of Fame Badges. The HOF ones include Showtime, Relentless Finisher, Back Down Punisher, Fancy Footwork, Slithery, and Clamps, among many others.

Clyde Drexler has 18 Gold and 40 HOF Badges including Acrobat, Pro Touch, Quick Draw, Deadeye, Clamps, Bail Out and Pick Dodger.

Where are the new cards available?

Based on the leak and card graphics, these will be a part of the NBA 2K20 Buzzer Beater packs in MyTeam Market. The packs cost 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT each for a standard five-card pack, based on their original prices. A 10-pack box costs 67,500 VC and a 20-pack box goes for 135,000 VC.

These packs originally launched two months ago and had Galaxy Opal Stephen Curry as the headliner. Other GO cards released and available for purchase include Jamal Crawford, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Patrick Ewing.

We’ve seen the Ewing and Kareem cards selling for the most on the PS4 auction listings. As of this report, Ewing’s card is getting about 150,000 to 180,000 MT on several listings. The Kareem card is considerably higher, with prices going over 300,000 MT.

We’d expect Blake Griffin to probably sell for a good bit of MT, based on all of the ratings and Hall of Fame Badges the Clippers and Pistons star has.

Check the MyTeam Store and Auctions for these cards to arrive in the near future. In addition, make sure to check out the new Kobe Bryant tribute content available in the game.
