Soul Calibur 6 Gets the Sandwich Treatment Thanks to Arby’s

Soul Calibur 6 is shaping up to be one of the best games of the franchise, and with a release date of October 16th of this year, you’ll have to trust us when we say that the hype is real. What’s more, you’re going to have to fill up with some food fuel when you get the game, right? So why not pop over to Arby’s and see if they have anything that’ll interest you. Maybe a special Nightmare sandwich?

Sadly we’re kidding on that last part. You won’t be eating a Nightmare sandwich, but if you check Arby’s official Twitter you’ll see one of the most amazing statues we’ve ever seen. That’s right, it’s Nightmare from Soul Calibur 6 and he is made completely out of Arby’s sandwich boxes. Not only is it massive, but Arby’s also commented that it took over 1 thousand hours to construct. Talk about working overtime!

If you’re not too sure what Nightmare looks like when he isn’t made of sandwich boxes, check him out below and see for yourself.

Soul Calibur 6 Nightmare

It’s an incredibly well-made statue and the details are so incredible it’s like looking into a mirror, apart from one is just a little more cardboard than the other. Regardless, the work from Arby and the 7 artists from Volpin Props cannot be applauded enough and we hope to see more of this statue in the future. Maybe greeting guests as they walk into the restaurant?

However, Soul Calibur 6 was not the only creation that Arby’s made for Anime Expo 2018. There was also Meliodas’ Dragon Handle from Seven Deadly Sins, a Fourth-Gear Luffy from One Piece and our favorite witch from Little Witch Academia, Akko. Say what you will about Arby’s food, but they sure do like to get creative and have excellent taste in anime and games.

Were you there at Anime Expo this year and did you see any of the characters in this article? Let us know.
