You’ve heard of Cat and Mouse, but what about Cat and Spider? In the brand new Spider-Man PS4 DLC trailer, players come face-to-face with Felicia Hardy, aka The Black Cat for the first time and she is most certainly a sight to behold. It’s clear from her meeting with Spider-Man that they have history, but how will that affect the DLC’s storyline? We can’t wait to find out.
Spider-Man’s first DLC ‘The City that Never Sleeps’ was first announced on the PlayStation Europe Blog which explained that the first part of the DLC (‘The Heist) would be about how “Black Cat is back in town and she’s leaving clues around town to toy with Spider-Man.” At first glance, it would appear that there will be an ultimate showdown between Spider-Man and the Black Cat but considering the two’s history, is that truly the case?
As some non-comic fans may not know, Black Cat and Spider-Man have quite the steamy history together and he inspired her in many, many ways which we’ll leave up to your imagination. Whether this relationship will be present in the comic remains to be seen, but we’re sure that comic fans are eager to see how Insomniac Games have implemented their relationship into the game.
There is also Mary Jane to consider, who also plays a prominent role in the game as players are able to control her at certain parts in the game. If there’s a case to be made of Black Cat’s and Spider-Man’s relationship, we’re intrigued on where Mary Jane will fit in.
