Tekken 7 Might Be Getting a Second Season Pass

The first Tekken 7 season pass brought with it a ton of fun and good times. If you were hyped about the inclusion of Geese Howard from Fatal Fury, Noctis from Final Fantasy XV and the addition of the Tekken Bowl Mode, then you’ll be pleased to know that there is the possibility of more content to come in the near future. Because why wouldn’t you when there’s more Tekken on the line?

While a second season pass for Tekken 7 is by no means confirmed, a tweet from a Japanese account (which you can see below) implies that the publisher, Bandai Namco, could possibly be preparing a new edition of the game for retail in the form of Tekken 7 Welcome. The Tekken 7 Welcome package seems to include everything that’s been released in Tekken so far, including the very first season pass.

Take a look at the tweet below to see for yourselves the evidence that points towards a new season pass.

The tweet reads, as translated by ComicBook.com, “Cheap soft information (both released on September 6). PS4 ‘Persona 5 New Price Edition’ 367 yen (4126 yen from the original version).” It continues, “PS4 ‘Tekken 7 Welcome’. Price is 4320 yen (4536 yen cheaper from the original version). First-time benefits: 300 yen Discount Tickets available in Season Pass 1 and 2.”

The mention of a second season pass got fan’s tongues wagging with speculation and excitement, though considering how well the first season pass did we can hardly blame anyone for wanting more of the good stuff. Continuing down the same road as the first, with guest characters like Noctis, would be a beneficial idea for Bandai Namco. However, we’re certain they’ve got more than a few new tricks up their sleeves if this rumor proves truthful.

We’ll have to see what the future has in store for Tekken 7 fans. But until then, fighting fans can turn to Soul Calibur 6 and Jump Force news to get their fighting news.
