The simplicity of the joystick/button controllers was innovative as hell for the era. It was also all we needed. Games like Frogger, Pitfall, and Pac-man were controlled perfectly. I wish Nintendo and PlayStation would come out with a joystick controller. They would probably have to make games specifically to be compatible. But I personally would enjoy a controller with nothing more than a joystick and only one single button.

Their handheld exclusives are life or death for Nintendo. They more or less have a monopoly on the handheld market. I would say SOTN if this was a PlayStation discussion. But being that it's Nintendo, I can easily say Castlevania II Simon's Quest. It's not the easiest game in the Castlevania franchise, but it's absolutely one of the best.
