It's being said it will come with a single player mode and a 4 player co-op mode. Not much is currently known on the game, but you can find this news here: https://www.gamewatcher.com/news/Subnautica-2-release-date-everything-we-know The original post got the date wrong, mentioned 2024, but it has been updated to include a note from the dev team about it's official release, which is said to be sometime in 2025.
