How Efficient Is Roaming for International Calls?

Have you ever used your mobile carrier’s roaming service to make calls while in a different country? How was the call quality, and did you face any unexpected charges or issues? Would you recommend using roaming or opting for a local SIM instead?

I’ve never used it. Instead, I’ve downloaded an App called TextMe where you can rent a number and call over VoIP which is very much similar to WhatsApp. This means you require an internet connection to make a phone call - not a cellular signal.

Personally, I've used one called Airalo. It allows you to get an Esim number from the country you're in for a certain price and it's been incredibly useful.
