killamch89 Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Esports is often seen as a young person’s game, but with players in their 30s and even 40s still competing at the top level, it raises the question: should there be an age limit in competitive gaming? On one hand, physical and mental reflexes may decline with age, but on the other, experience and strategic thinking improve over time. What do you think? Should Esports impose an age limit, or should players be able to compete as long as they want?
Scorpion Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 I don't think there should be an age limit in esports. Experience and strategy often outweigh physical decline, fostering diverse competition.
killamch89 Posted February 12, 2025 Author Posted February 12, 2025 I believe implementing an age limit in esports could help protect younger players from burnout and exploitation, while still encouraging healthy competition. However, rather than enforcing a strict cutoff, establishing flexible guidelines might be a better solution to support both emerging talent and experienced players.
