The ones that came with magazines or even just as standalone discs in game bundles. Remember how they gave us a taste of upcoming games? Which one stands out to you? Was it a demo for a game you’d never have picked up otherwise, or did it introduce you to your all-time favorite?
Scorpion Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 My favorite demo disc is the "PlayStation Underground Volume 8." It had iconic demos like “Final Fantasy VII” and “Resident Evil 3.”
killamch89 Posted January 2, 2025 Author Posted January 2, 2025 I loved how demo discs gave us access to games we might never have tried otherwise. One that stands out for me is the PS1 disc with Metal Gear Solid. It blew my mind and totally changed what I thought video games could be. Nowadays, I feel like we’ve lost some of that discovery, even with all the free-to-play games and online betas.
