killamch89
When installing a new mobile app, how do you approach granting permissions? Do you carefully review each permission request, deny anything you think is unnecessary, or simply allow everything for convenience? I’m curious to hear if you have any strategies for managing permissions to protect your privacy or if you trust the apps by default. Do you ever go back and change permissions after installation? Scorpion
I always review permissions carefully before granting them. I deny anything that seems unnecessary to protect my privacy. I periodically revisit app settings to adjust permissions and ensure they're still appropriate.
killamch89
I've developed a tiered permission approach: essential permissions are granted immediately (camera for photo apps, etc.), convenience permissions case-by-case during usage, and suspicious permissions never. I also periodically audit with 'Permission Manager' to revoke access from apps I no longer use frequently.
