Thoughts on the PSP's Digital Downloads for PSOne Classics?

I’ve been thinking about how the PSP handled PSOne classics through digital downloads. At the time, it was a pretty cool feature, giving players access to retro games on the go. But was it a solid implementation or a bit too limited? The selection of games wasn’t huge, and the download process felt clunky. Did you enjoy playing these classics on the PSP, or did you feel like it could’ve been done better?

I enjoyed playing PSOne classics on the PSP, but the limited selection and clunky download process could definitely have been improved.

The PSP's PSOne Classics were revolutionary but hampered by regional restrictions. Being able to legitimately play Final Fantasy VII on a handheld blew my mind, but the limited selection in my region was frustrating. Still, it foreshadowed the digital preservation approach that modern gaming is finally embracing more comprehensively.
