killamch89 Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I’ve been wondering how many people rely on mods to fix bugs or improve performance in PC games. For example, mods that address common glitches or boost FPS in poorly optimized titles. Do you find them essential, or do you prefer to wait for official patches?
Scorpion Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 Mods have been a lifesaver for me; they've fixed game-breaking bugs and improved performance in several titles. I appreciate the developer community's efforts and often rely on mods until official patches are available.
killamch89 Posted February 6, 2025 Author Posted February 6, 2025 I often turn to mods for bug fixes, especially for games that the developers seem to have abandoned. Unofficial patches can be lifesavers. For performance, I'm more cautious, but if a game is notoriously poorly optimized, I'll definitely look at mods that can help boost FPS without sacrificing too much visual quality. They're sometimes essential for a playable experience in games like Skyrim and Fallout 4.
