killamch89 Posted January 22, 2025 Posted January 22, 2025 With the rise of newer VR tech and controllers, do you think the PlayStation Move controllers still hold up in today’s VR gaming world? While they were groundbreaking for the PS3 and PS4, with the PS VR2 now out, are they still a practical option for gaming, or should Sony update them for the next generation?

killamch89 Posted January 27, 2025 Author Posted January 27, 2025 The PlayStation Move controllers were innovative for their time, but they’re definitely starting to show their age compared to newer VR tech. Their lack of joysticks and limited tracking precision make them less ideal for modern VR experiences. That said, they’re still usable for PS VR1 and work well for certain games like Beat Saber. If you’re on a budget, they’re a decent option, but Sony would benefit from updating them for next-gen compatibility.
