Scorpion Posted March 19, 2025 Posted March 19, 2025 What is the earliest video game you remember playing, and what made it stand out to you? Was it the graphics, the storyline, or perhaps the gameplay? I’d love to hear your nostalgic memories and how that game influenced your perspective on video gaming as a whole.
killamch89 Posted March 23, 2025 Posted March 23, 2025 'Duck Hunt' on the NES around 1990 remains my earliest gaming memory. The physical act of pointing the light gun at our boxy TV created a magical connection between action and outcome that my 5-year-old brain found revolutionary. I can still hear that mocking dog's laugh when I missed – probably my first experience with gaming frustration.
Bizdustry Posted March 25, 2025 Posted March 25, 2025 The first video game that I can recall playing was Run 2. It was a flash game, ran on a website called Cool Maths Games. Used to play during Mathematic classes as the teacher gave us permission to if we completed all of our actual math assignments.
GameOn Posted March 26, 2025 Posted March 26, 2025 Duck Hunt was the very first game I ever played, and there was nothing like putting a gun into the controller and shooting the screen. It wasn't Super Mario as many claimed.
