Scorpion Posted March 25, 2025 Posted March 25, 2025 Which game do you believe has the best background sound, and what elements make it stand out for you? Is it the atmospheric effects, the music, or the immersive audio design? Share your thoughts on how the sound enhances your gaming experience and adds depth to the game's world.
Bizdustry Posted March 25, 2025 Posted March 25, 2025 I would say Minecraft has the best background sound. The original music, when you’re starting out on the first night. After some time it can become irritating but what I love about background music is that it’s so specific to the video game and it’s what makes the title unique to other comparators.
killamch89 Posted April 23, 2025 Posted April 23, 2025 Bloodborne's ambient audio creates this perfect atmosphere of dread and decay. The distant church bells, the barely audible whispers, and the way the soundscape subtly shifts as the night progresses immerse you in Yharnam more effectively than even the visuals. What elevates it beyond typical horror game sound design is how it balances oppressive tension with moments of haunting beauty, especially in areas like the Upper Cathedral Ward.
Bizdustry Posted May 4, 2025 Posted May 4, 2025 I really like game soundtrack Skyrim. There’s a lot of nostalgia and I find it adds to the build up and tension of the gameplay. Especially when completing the big boss battles.
