ARK: Survival Evolved becomes an entirely different (and much better) experience on a properly configured dedicated server where you can adjust the punishing grind and create a more balanced ecosystem. The default settings are brutal, but with custom rates and mods, it transforms into the dinosaur sandbox of my dreams.
