Season 1's faithful adaptation of Oesterheld's comic managed the impossible - maintaining the philosophical depth while creating genuinely suspenseful television. I'm particularly eager to see how they expand on the resistance movement's ethical dilemmas in Season 2, especially as they move beyond the original source material.
